Weaving is a fascinating art, a permanent journey of discovery, where colour and texture combine to create unique effects. When I was introduced to weaving, I knew I had found my calling.
During my journey, I've been weaving fashion accessories and small homewares in beautiful, natural yarns such as cotton, merino, cashmere and silk.
I love colour and I use it extensively in my pieces as I believe it brings joy and it makes us feel special. My scarves could be one offs or a very small number of the same design in different materials and colours.
Weaving is a lengthy process, involving selecting yarns, dressing the loom, weaving by hand every row and finishing the final piece. The reward at the end of the process, is the joy or creating a beautiful piece.
